Hello

I just wanted to mention that all these reviews are great and help all of us when shopping for new audio equipment etc.
One thing that seems to be missing from these reviews is the companies support scores.

I bought a WiiM pro plus for a friend and it turns out that their support is non existent right from day one.
You might have the best streamer at the best price but when you need help and there's no support where does that leave you?

Best regards
Joe Support

Welcome to the forum.

Whilst we agree with the sentiments, how can they realistically report on customer services? They wouldn't be joining the queue like Joe Public on a review sample. These days they are more like paid influencers than reviewers anyway.

Love Canada, who doesn't!
Welcome to the forum 🙂

Not wishing to distract from your opening thread but out of curiosity, what kind of issues are you experiencing with your WiiM product. Perhaps someone on this thread is best placed to assist you?

Just as an aside, Ed Selley couldn't give the Vibelink amp a full recommendation because not even WiiM's remote could work with it. He was manually changing the volume.

I'd like to know others experience.

It depends on the problems your friend is experiencing.

Once the Pro Plus is connected to the network and you've accessed the service you want you should be good to go.

There's an enthusiastic and well moderated Wiim users forum but if there's a fault with your unit, then the first trip is to the dealer. I'm not sure what the consumer situation is in Canada, though I know in the States you need to go through the manufacturer instead of the retailer.

Might be worth logging in to the Wiim Forum and seeing if you can get help there, likely a larger body of knowledge to call on than this one.
